Ingredients

Chicken Marinade
☐ 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
☐ 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
☐ 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
☐ 3 cloves garlic, minced
☐ 1 ½ tsp dried oregano
☐ 1 tsp smoked paprika
☐ ½ tsp ground cumin
☐ ½ tsp salt
☐ ¼ tsp black pepper

Cucumber Tzatziki Sauce
☐ 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
☐ ½ large cucumber, grated & squeezed
☐ 2 cloves garlic, minced
☐ 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
☐ 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
☐ 1 tbsp fresh dill or mint, chopped
☐ ¼ tsp salt
☐ Black pepper to taste

Gyro Wraps
☐ 4 Greek-style pita breads or flatbreads
☐ 1 cup chopped romaine or iceberg lettuce
☐ 1 medium tomato, diced or sliced
☐ ½ small red onion, thinly sliced
☐ ½ cup crumbled feta cheese
☐ Optional: sliced kalamata olives or pickled onions

Instructions

☐ Marinate the Chicken: Whisk olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, paprika, cumin, salt & pepper. Add chicken & toss to coat. Cover & refrigerate 30 min – 2 hours.

☐ Prepare the Tzatziki Sauce: Combine Greek yogurt, cucumber, garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, dill/mint. Season with salt & pepper. Mix well, cover & refrigerate until ready.

☐ Cook the Chicken: Heat grill pan, outdoor grill, or skillet over medium-high. Cook chicken 5–7 min per side (internal temp 165Β°F / 74Β°C). Rest 5 min, then slice thinly.

☐ Assemble the Gyros: Warm pita breads. Spread tzatziki on each pita. Add chicken, lettuce, tomato, red onion, feta. Add extra tzatziki & optional toppings. Fold or roll pita, serve immediately with lemon wedges.
